Boston Real Estate Firm Encore Realty Will Pay for Those Displaced from Work by the Pandemic to Become a Real Estate Agent

Encore Realty, a Boston real estate firm, is helping those who have been displaced from work by COVID-19 start a new career. Encore is offering to pay for the cost of the real estate certification course and exam for those who are interested in a new career in real estate.

It’s no secret that the job market has taken a serious hit as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The housing market has felt the ripples of that financial uncertainty, but a Boston real estate firm has begun a serious push to help those in need during this crisis.

Encore Realty has been covering the cost of the real estate certification course and exam for people looking to make their way into the field. With so many finding themselves furloughed from their previous work, Encore Realty is creating job opportunities in a market that can use an influx of dedicated agents. They’ve also built mentor programs for their existing team in order to make sure everyone is successful in this transition.

The idea to build this program came through their other efforts in the community. Encore has been working closely with local food banks during the pandemic and found through their conversations with those in need that employment was the largest factor they were facing.

“There are thousands of people in the Greater Boston area that have been laid off because of the pandemic. We have been very fortunate to connect with incredibly talented people that have transferable skill sets that have allowed them to quickly become successful in real estate. They just needed the opportunity to do this”, says Graham Parker, Managing Partner with Encore Realty.

While nationally, the real estate market has been stalled by COVID, Boston is one of the most competitive markets in the country. Home sales continue to bring aggressive buyers with multiple offers and sale prices over asking. This demand is creating a need for more competent real estate agents.

“With how fast the Boston market moves, there is always a need for strong, knowledgeable real estate agents to help people find great homes”, said Parker. “We provide in depth training and cover the cost of the certification course and real estate license for anyone that is really motivated to provide the highest level of customer service to clients that are making one the biggest and most important decision of their lives. And in doing so build a successful career in an incredibly rewarding industry.

Encore Realty is a luxury real estate brokerage with over 50 years of experience amongst it’s founding partnership. They control an exclusive portfolio of luxury developments in the downtown Boston area including www.45Marion.com, www.455Harvard.com, and www.1EverettAllston.com

So far, Encore Realty has been able to help over a one hundred people take the real estate certification course and licensing exam through their community efforts.
